Best choice in Tenerife South

Unfortunately, overtourism is an issue in the region of Los Cristianos / Playa de las Americas / Adeje. However, Tivoli Caleta is very well located in the more quiet and less congested area of Adeje. Unlike in Playa de las Americas you may even be able to park in the street (the hotel is also offering valet parking) and you reach TF-1 motorway without congestion for any kind of excursions. The hotel is not that big as other huge hotel complexes in the area and is thus offering more privacy and calm. The hotel is located at the waterfront and you can easily reach Playa del Duque in three minutes via the shore path. Very comfortable and spacious rooms with terrace. Personnel highly professional and friendly. Excellent breakfast. La Caleta with fine restaurants (e.g. Masía del Mar) is in walking distance.

Recently refurbished to a high standard. Good sized bedroom, very clean and comfortable. Exceptional breakfast buffet and first class on site dining options. Whole team very friendly and professional.

As hotel is renovated, personnel is also new, so not everything was smooth, check-in was extremely slow, rooms were not ready at 3 p.m,

Wonderful - we didn't want to leave...

Breakfast was amazing and all the food was good. Room was exceptional with lovely views. Gardens to the hotel are beautiful and very well laid out.

Very little! One small point would be to suggest staff retraining occasionally - in some areas, noteably the bars, some of them were more interested in chattiing amongst themselves than watching to see who came in and sat down and needed serving. Several times we had to go to the bar and order ourselves.

Exceptional

We stayed at Tivoli La Caleta for 12 nights, and we had a fantastic experience! The property is completely renovated, everything is new, sparkling clean and beautiful. The property itself is admirable. It's almost like a little tropical garden within and all around the buildings. I really liked how they kept and maintained a lot of greenery and nature. Unlike the rest of the South, this area is quieter, and the resort itself offers a nice, laid back, tranquil and relaxed vibe, which we loved. They had a very tasteful selection of entertainment on some of the days, but very unobtrusive and pleasant. There are multiple restaurants and a beach club at the property. They are all very well managed and offer a good variety of food and drinks. All the pools were very clean and heated. The personnel was very nice, and everyone was always ready to help with anything. We felt really safe and in good hands the whole stay. They would go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have what you need. There were a few tiny hiccups we noticed in the consistency of the service from time to time, but that is in no way to say that they did anything less but a fantastic job. They are simply humans and working hard! I have rarely seen Guest Relations work so well at any property and actually be close to all guests, genuinely caring and listening. The breakfast experience was also very impressive, especially with how busy the restaurant was at breakfast, and they still managed to offer an excellent breakfast along with sufficient attention by the personnel. Kudos to the whole team at Tivoli La Caleta, I hope they keep it up and till next time!

A very enjoyable stay, we would definitely return.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff excellent. Grounds and swimming pools were excellent.

Cooked food at breakfast could be hotter. The same could be said about the evening buffet. Drinks from the bar were too high. So we went to local bars where drinks were a lot cheaper.

Great - would go again

The staff were incredible and the facilities, pool, service, food all excellent - everyone was friendly, professional :) I was greeted nicely, shown to my room, the cocktails / music/ ambiance was all fantastic.

There was a time at breakfast where I ordered coffee 3 different times and never received it - a small annoying experience but you'd expect much better service at a 5-star. Also, it didn't feel transparent that the spa was under construction and not open for services which was a bummer.

Paradise for lazy vacation

Pool area is a pure paradise! With a warming pool in the middle which is perfect for kids swimming all day. Nice quiet room, soft pillows and also close to the city if you want some action.

Had to wait for our room to be ready. Could be more choises for breakfast table:)

Thoroughly relaxed

Spacious, relaxed, very comfortable, stylish, some staff were incredible - especially Luca from the SEEN bar, who was fantastic, and we enjoyed the cocktails.

Inconsistent amenities and service. The hotel was on a ‘soft openingz’ after refurbishment, so I hope these will smooth out.

Let's face it, five star doesn't come better than this: immaculate hotel, great location, comfortable accomodation and amazing food choices with super friendly staff. We really enjoyed the Yakuza restaurant, OMG your taste buds will do a triple yummy... Do yourself a favour and book here for a week of luxury.
